Single Origin Chocolate Platter $14 |
I was excited to try Single Origin Chocolate Platter served on a wooden tower, which matched the shop and furniture. There was a card explaining the percentage of cacao origins, chocolate and drink pairings. I discovered the origins of each desserts and the art of creation to these handcrafted chocolates. Each pleasant taste was luscious and unique except Ecuador brownie was too common and nothing special.
66% Ecuador brownie has floral aromas of jasmine and orange blossom in the chocolate. It is the best dessert that pairs with rose, berries or black tea.
68% Bali tart is chocolate ganache made from rare cacao grown beside coconut trees, marked by intense fruitiness with a subtle bitterness. It is a good pairing with cherries, coconut and lime.
75% Tanzania ice cream is the perfect balance of acidity with strong fruitiness and intense cacao bitterness. It is the best pairing with cacao nibs, pecan and raspberry.

Signature Frozen S’Mores $9 |
Signature Frozen S’Mores is a torched marshmallow with signature 80% dark chocolate ice cream, on a graham tart shell topped witha chocolate chip and sprinkled with some chocolate soil on the plate. This is one of the most populardesserts. I recommend you to try it and you will remember the taste forever.
Signature Frozen S’Mores $9 |
I was addicted to Signature Frozen S’Mores at first bite. Frozen S’Mores contained intense chocolate with very mild fruity taste. With high percentage of dark chocolate ice cream, taste was not bitter surprisingly. The chocolate was so creamy, super rich and thick that the color appeared almost black in the picture. It melted much slower than usual ice cream. Signature Frozen S’Mores’s texture was similar to a small ice cream cake but filling.
Colourful Macarons |
Macarons can be found in a wide variety of flavours. Traditional chocolate macarons are modified to dark chocolate salted caramel (black). There are unusual ones such as pistachio (olive green), hazelnut praline (light brown) and lapsing souchong caramel (blue) macarons.
Food Menu |
We wanted to order The Chocolate Rhapsody ($19) but we were too full. It is signature dark chocolate (grey), milk chocolate (brown) and white chocolate ice cream on a bed of chocolate soil, decorated with baked meringue, tuile and mousse. The Dark Gallery is my all-time memorable luscious dessert. There are so many desserts with variety of flavours, we're spoilt by choice. Indulge your taste bud with the creation of their handcrafted chocolates. Break all your diet plans because you won't regret eating here.
